SHIKARPUR - Community to community exchange ideas programmes was organized by Hands International Shikarpur chapter in collaboration with Medico International [MI] in villages Jano Sharif, Pir Bux Shujra and Lodra here on Saturday.
Assistant Commissioner Shikarpur Syed Arbab Ali Shah was the chief guest on the occasion, while Mir Ali Keerio, the Provincial Project Manager [PPM] Sindh, and Agha Waheed Ahmed, were the honourable guests.
Keerio highlighted the importance of such programmes and gave a detailed briefing about the objectives of the programme.
Speaking on the occasion, Assistant Commissioner Syed Arbab Ali Shah hailed the efforts of Hands International Shikarpur for maintaining the list of disabled persons, list of blood groups, list of those villagers, who have not been registered at NADRA, list of out-of-school children and the list of female volunteers who are ready to face any sudden disaster.
The female participants also shared their ideas on the occasion.
They were later taken to the field for observing CPI scheme of the village and sharing experiences with other DRR members.
All the females showed commitment to conduct such activities in future as well.
