UPPER DIR - At least four people including two women were killed while 10 others sustained injuries when a pick-up fell into river Panjkora near Narhand Khor area on Dir-Timergara road on Saturday.

Sources said the vehicle was on the way to Tablighi Masjid Sahibabad from Almas locality. The driver lost control of the vehicle near Narhand area due to over speeding, which caused the accident.

As a result, four people identified as Muhammad Waseen, Muhammad Zaman, mother of Mohammad Azam and mother of Khaista Mohammad died on the spot while 10 others were injured. The injured were shifted to various hospitals of Lower and Upper Dir.

All the persons that met the accident hail from same village.
