HANGU - A man was killed while another sustained burn injuries when a gay-cylinder exploded at a shop in Hangu district on Saturday morning. According to the Hangu police, the fatal incident took place when a shopkeeper, identified as Khan Muhammad, was allegedly filling gas in a balloon through a gas cylinder at his shop while a customer, identified as Tori Gul, was standing next to him.

As result, they suffered multiple burn injuries and were immediately taken to District Headquarters Hospital Hangu where Khan was pronounced dead and Gul is stated to be in stable condition.

Following the explosion, which was also heard in the surrounding areas, the police rushed to the scene and collected the evidences for further interrogation. The police have registered a case and started investigation.
