LAHORE - Karachi Basketball Club will face Mamba Squad Basketball in the final of the Shah Abdul Latif Bhattai SSB Cup Basketball Tournament 2021 at Aram Bagh, Karachi. According to KBBA President Ghulam Muhammad Khan, Karachi Basketball Club defeated Lekol Ballers Basketball Club by 52-46 in the first semifinal. Zain Tanveer (17), Dr Tahir Ahmed (15) and Anil Ahmed (13) played well for winners while Arham Latif (12), Zafar Hussain and Asad Khan (10 each) for runners-up. Mamba Squad won the second semifinal. Zahid Malik, Zafar Iqbal, Ghulam Muhammad Sr and Michael Turner were the referees in both the semifinals. The officials were Zaeema Khatun, Mumtaz Ahmed and Naeem Ahmed. Special guests Asghar Ali Shah Foundation chief Begum Asma Muhammad Ali Shah graced the occasion as chief guest and was introduced to the players. KBBA President GM Khan said the services of Shah Family for sports can never be forgotten.
