Israel is warning Syria not to attack the Jewish state and says the Syrian president's regime would collapse in case of a future conflict. Foreign Minister Avigdor Lieberman's made the warning at a lecture at Bar Ilan University near Tel Aviv on Thursday. His comments came a day after Syria's foreign minister accused Israel of warmongering. Syrian President Bashar Assad has also accused Israel of not being ready for peace. Lieberman warned Assad: "In the next war, not only will you lose but you and your family will lose power."
