LOS ANGELES (Reuters) - Warner Bros said it would release the next Harry Potter movie in 3D, and would also delay the launch of action fantasy Clash of the Titans by one week to April 2 to facilitate its conversion into 3D. The studio said the conversion work on Titan is being handled by Prime Focus, a Hollywood postproduction company that worked on nine-time Oscar nominee Avatar. Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows, Part 1 is set to open on November 19 Part 2, set for July 15, 2011, also will be released in 3D, though Warners hasnt yet acknowledged the latter move. The studios other upcoming 3D titles include Cats & Dogs: The Revenge of Kitty Galore (July 30) and 300 director Zack Snyders Guardians of GaHoole (September 24).
