It pains me to say that children are born to die in Sindh province. According to various Sindhi daily newspapers everyday a number of children both newborns and growing babies die due to hunger, malnutrition and contaminated water in various upper and lower Sindh regions. This situation has become alarming in the rain and flood-hit areas.
Unfortunately, nothing is being done to save these dying souls in the disaster–hit and other rural areas of Sindh. Urgent help is needed to save these ill-fated babies. The International humanity caring organisations such as Save the Children and the UNICEF should come forward so that these children may not die in their infancy in Sindh province.
