SIALKOT-Thousands of people will make a human chain and take out rallies on the Kashmir Solidarity Day in and around the Sialkot city to express solidarity with the oppressed people.

The people will observe the Kashmir Solidarity Day with traditional zeal and enthusiasm. A massive rally will be taken out by Shabab-e-Milli at Sialkot city's congested Allama Iqbal Chowk on Monday. The JI leaders will address the rally expressing complete solidarity with the depressed people of the Held Valley.

Jamaat-e-Islami District spokesperson Arif Mehmood Sheikh said that JI City Ameer Shakeel Thakur will lead the chain of human hands at Sialkot city's congested Allama Iqbal Chowk.

Meanwhile, almost all the political and religious parties will take out rallies in Sialkot, Daska, Sambrial, Pasrur, Chawinda, Badiana , Shakargarh, Zafarwal, Narowal and surrounding areas.

GOVT CLAIM: Mayor Tauheed Akhtar has said that the Corporation has focused on the early provision of potable drinking water to the people of Sialkot.

Talking to the members of the Sialkot Municipal Corporation here, he said that all the rusting, chocked and damaged water pipelines will be replaced in active collaboration with the Asian Development Bank (ADB).

He said that all 96 water tube wells were now working accurately in Sialkot under the supervision of MCS.

Sikh community leader Sardar Jaskaran Singh has said that every religion condemns terrorism and killing of the human being.

He added every religion gives the lesson of love, peace, affection, tolerance, unity, brotherhood and social and religious harmony. He was talking to Chairman of Pakistan Council for Social Welfare and Human Rights (PCSWHR) Ejaz Noori during his visit to PCSWHR.

He said that the minorities had been enjoying complete religious freedom in Pakistan and government was making sincere efforts to provide and protect their basic rights.

He said that the minorities played pivotal role in elimination of the terrorism from the country. He further said that the Pakistani nation stands united against terrorism and is ready to sacrifice their lives while battling against terrorism.
