Two held in MNA kidnap bid

ISLAMABAD - The Islamabad capital territory police on Thursday arrested two people who were accused of attempting to kidnap a sitting parliamentarian belonging to ruling PPP.
PPP MNA Begum Naseem Akhtar Chaudhary complained to the Secretariat police that on December 29, 2012, that Muddasir Akram and Mohammad Murtaza had attempted to kidnap her for reason.
The police registered an FIR and started investigating in this regard.
The police teams on Thursday arrested the two accused and started investing the matter.
“We have arrested the accused who are yet to confess to their crime,” a spokesperson of Islamabad police told this scribe.
