OKARA - Two persons including a youth were killed in separate incidents here in different areas of the district the other day. As per detail, a youth identified as Mohammad Hassan, a resident of village Waan Bullhe was shot dead by dacoits on putting up resistance during a dacoity near village 30/GD. Hassan along with his friend Mohammad Akram was going to load his tractor-trolley with sugarcane. Meanwhile, dacoits intercepted them and snatched motorcycle and cash them. However, the dacoit shot him dead when he attempted to overpower them.  In Village 19-1/R, 50-year-old Abdus Sattar, son of Sher Mohammad, a labourer was on the way to fields to fetch fodder for cattle. Meanwhile, unidentified culprits slaughtered him. On information, the police took the body into custody and sent for a postmortem.
