LAHORE: Noted scholar Aziz Zafar Azad said that Maulana Muhammad Ali Johar had started Tehreek-i-Khilafat that was later turned into Pakistan Movement.

While speaking at a sitting on the services of Maulana Johar at Aiwan-i-Karkunan-i-Tehreek-i-Pakistan on Saturday, Azad said that the journalistic career of Johar showed that he had great love for Muslims. He bravely wrote for the deprived people, Azad added.

“Weekly Comrade and Daily Hamdard speak volumes of his efforts through communication to enlighten rights of people,” Azad said while talking more about Johar’s journalistic services.–Staff Reporter

Highlighting Johar’s political career, Azad said that he had participated in several meetings of Muslim league and elevated himself to be one of those leaders who participated in constitution making of the Muslim League.
