Peshawar- Director General Inter Services Public Relations Major General Asim Saleem Bajwa today said the return of temporarily displaced persons will begin from next month.

The army along with the government and Federally Administered Tribal Areas administration will ensure comprehensive resettlement of those displaced due to operation Zarb-e-Azb launched against militants, he tweeted.

The decision came during a meeting of the Khyber-Pakhtunkhwa apex committee designed to implement the National Action Plan.

Earlier today, COAS General Raheel Sharif arrived in Peshawar to attend the meeting. Khyber-Pakhtunkhwa governor, Chief Minister Pervaiz Khattak, Corps Commander Peshawar and DG ISI also attended the meeting.

COAS added that the people of the province left militants alone, playing a vital role in the war against militancy.
