ISLAMABAD  - Deposed Chief Justice Iftikhar Mohammed Chaudhry on Thursday ruled out the notions that he would lead lawyers' movement as appeared in a section of Press. According to a Press release by Supreme Court Bar Association, the  deposed CJ Iftikhar Mohammed Chaudhry told a lawyers' delegation, which  called on him, that he could not lead any movement, adding that constitutionally, he is still the Chief Justice of Pakistan. However, he expressed his satisfaction over the movement and added that they are moving towards right direction. He also urged lawyers to maintain unity in their ranks and keep united for the supremacy of the Constitution. Secretary SCBA Chaudhry Amin Javed said on nationwide call, the Bar also observed strike in Supreme Court of Pakistan on Thursday. The delegation consisted of Secretary SCBA Chaudhry Amin Javed, Vice President Punjab Ghulam Nabi Bhatti, Vice President NWFP Saeed Akhtar and Rana Farman Ali.
