KARAK - The main accused in a bank robbery case was arrested by the Karak police and was sent on judicial remand, police sources said Tuesday.
They claimed that about two months ago some unknown persons broke the Habib Bank branch of Khuram Muhammad Zai at night and took away computers and its accessories, while the cash remained safe as they could not succeeded to break the strong room of the bank. The sources added that the SHO of Khurram police station Muhammad Rehman along with police party raided his house last night and he was arrested.
Police also recovered the laptop computers and other accessories on the pinpoint of the accused Saleem Nawaz son of Rabnawaz resident of Khuram Muhammad Zai.
The accused was produced before the court of senior civil judge Karak by the police and the court sent him on judicial remand for further investigation.
