RAWALPINDI - A labourer and a child electrocuted to death in different incidents here on Tuesday.
According to sources, Gull Wali son of Musafir Khan, 40, along with other labourers was constructing the roof of a building at Dhoke Gujra when he received electric shock from an electricity cable.
On the other hand, the area police was totally unaware about the death of a poor labourer.
When contacted Sub Inspector (SI) Ameer Gondal, incharge of Chowky Naseerabad, controlled by Police Station (PS) Westridge, said that no complaint was lodged with police so far, however, he would look into the matter and will initiate legal action against the owner of the building.
In another incident, a five-year-old child namely Hamza Khan electrocuted to death at Rehmatabad, the area of Police Station (PS) Airport.
