LAKKI MARWAT - Police arrested a runaway prisoner along with a person who helped him and three proclaimed absconders during separate actions on Tuesday. Acting on a tip off, a police party headed by SHO Lakki Asad Ali Shah raided a house in village Abakhel and arrested one Mukamil Shah, resident of Bachkan Ahmadzai. A police official said that Mukamil Shah had fled Bannu jail when militants attacked it in mid April this year. “Since then, the law enforcement agencies were looking for him,” he maintained. He said that Mukamil Shah was a convicted person and he would be handed over to Bannu police. He said the law enforcers also arrested Ihsanullah for helping the fleeing prisoner in his house and registered a case against him under relevant section of law. Separately, the same police party arrested three notorious proclaimed offenders identified as Sharifullah, Hussain Nawaz and Yaseen Wahab during surprise raids in Paharkhel Thall and Michenkhel localities”, he added. He told that the arrested outlaws were wanted by police in murder cases.
