Bilawal Bhutto Zardari, Chairman Pakistan Peoples Party (PPP) said, "The construction of dams is the responsibility of governments."
While talking to media persons in Nawabshah, he said, "The party which proposed the construction of Kalabagh dam pointed out in a report that it may not be beneficial but we should have a consensus on it."
Chairman PPP is leading the election campaign in interior Sindh these days. He stressed that the water crisis is one biggest crisis the country is currently facing.
"PPP always raised the issue of water scarcity and struggled to resolve it," he remarked.
Moreover, he claimed that they have built number of small dams in Sindh province. Bilawal commented on the role of judiciary, he said that judiciary in not involved in the construction of dams anywhere in the world.
Whereas, talking about Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N), he said, "The Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) should not quit the electoral race fearing defeat."
He further said, "I also urge the puppet alliance to have faith in the nation. All political parties should contest the election."
Furthermore, he thanked his party's supporters and their warm welcome throughout the Sindh during his visit. He said, "I have faith that the nation will support us."
Bilawal stated, "We want the elections to be held on time, in fact Pakistan people's party is the only party that has launched its manifesto."
He further added, "May be other parties want to delay the election scheduled for July 25 so they can rig or come in power through the wrong means."
Chairman PPP is campaigning himself for the first time, will be addressing party supporters in Nawabshah, Kazi Ahmed, Moro, Naushahro Feroze and Rani Pur today.
Tonight he will stay in Sukkur after addressing rally later today.
Earlier, Bilawal started his election campaign for the upcoming polls from Karachi on Sunday.
He has since visited Hyderabad, Thatta, Tando Jam, Hatri Bypass, Mithiani, Hala, Nawabshah and Sanghar among other districts.
After concluding his tour of Sindh, the 29-year-old will be headed to Punjab and Khyber Pakhtunkhwa.
