OUR STAFF REPORTER LAHORE An anti-terrorism court on Friday accepted the bail of Malik Ahsan against the surety bonds of Rs 0.1 million in Tipu Truckanwala murder case. The accused while appearing before court through his counsel on Friday informed the court that police concerned had not any solid and substantial evidence against him in Tipu murder case. His counsel argued to seek bail of his client, on which the court granted bail to the accused against the submission of surety bonds of Rs 0.1m. Before this, the court had announced death sentence for one Khurrum along with a fine on the charges of killing Arif Amir alias Tipu Truckanwala. According to details, armed assailants had opened firing at Arif Amir alias Tipu Truckanwala in the parking area of Allama Iqbal International Airport. Sarwar Road Police had registered the case against Khurram Butt, Khawaja Aqeel alias Gogi Butt, Malik Ahsan and four others on the complaint of one Sultan Mahmood under sections 7ATA/ 324/148/149 PPC.
