'N candidate vows to revolutionise AJK economy

MIRPUR PML-N candidate from Mirpur for June 26 elections Muhammad Saeed on Thursday declared that after being elected, his party would initiate revolutionary reforms to strengthen economy, which as he observed has shattered because of flawed policies of the incumbent government. Talking to this scribe, Mr Saeed, who is also former president of the Federation of Pakistan Chambers of Commerce & Industry, said that because of the poor policies of the incumbent rulers, AJKs economy had yet crumbled after the states industrial estates started giving a look of graveyards due to lack of facilities by the government despite the hue and cry of investors. He pointed out that five to six mega industrial units in the only major industrial district of Mirpur could not run because of the lack of availability of gas. Saeed said that under the leadership of Mian Nawaz Sharif, Sardar Sikander Hayat Khan and Raja Farooq Haider, the PML-N intended to promote politics of reconciliation in Azad Jammu & Kashmir. The party has inked a broad-based mass welfare plan, he said. He added that the plan would land in the court of masses through AJK Legislative Assembly elections with a manifesto, fully enriched with the programme for the amelioration common man.
