ISLAMABAD - The allocation for already crippled and incapacitated National Accountability Bureau (NAB) was further reduced in the proposed budget 20011-12 as compared to the last fiscal. The study of budget document revealed that the allocations for National Accountability Bureau was made at Rs 629.974 million as compared to the last years allocation of 700 million which indicated that government was not at all interested in the revamping of this department. According to the budget document, the allocation for last fiscal was Rs 700 million while in the revised estimates the budget was slashed down to Rs 645.981 million, showing relatively less spending as compared to the estimated one. Keeping in view this reducing trend the allocation for the next financial year was reduced to Rs 629.074 million.
