MULTAN Praising The Nation Chief Editor In Chief Majid Nizami for playing historic role for the protection of ideological boundaries of the country, speakers at a function urged the government to take immediate steps to protect the nation from Indian and western cultural onslaught. The function was held to mark June 3, 1947 - the day when first announcement was made by Quaid-e-Azam on All India Radio regarding establishment of Pakistan. The function was organised by Nazariya-e-Pakistan Forums Muzaffargarh chapter and Pakistan Movement veteran Khan Raziq Nawaz Khan chaired the function. Resident Editor of Nawa-i-Waqt Multan Shamim Asghar Rao was the special guest. Through a unanimously adopted resolution, the speakers asked the government to refrain from omitting ideology of Pakistan from syllabus on NGOs pressure and introduce the ideology as a full subject from middle class. The other resolutions asked the government to impose a ban on Indian TV channels and programmes, launch crackdown on illegal cable networks particularly in Muzaffargarh city and Thermal Power Colony. The government urged to take action against officials responsible for non-compliance of a circular issued by Punjab government for forming Nazariya-e-Pakistan societies in educational institutions of Muzaffargarh. The participants of the function expressed serious concerns over increasing external intervention in Pakistan, asking the government to adopt practical measurers in light of nations aspirations, strengthen national defence and make public inquiry results of Abbottabad and Karachi incidents. Speaking on the occasion, Khan Raziq Nawaz Khan said that Pakistan is a gift from Allah Almighty to the Muslims and all international conspiracies would fail against this country. He said that Pakistan was created to exist forever and the ongoing time of trial would be over soon. Spotlighting different phases of Pakistan movement, he said that landslide victory of Pakistan Muslim League in 1946 polls forced the British government to review its India division formula. Addressing the function, Shamim Asghar Rao said that Nawa-i-Waqt was the guardian of the Two Nations Theory as this paper was launched by the Quaid-e-Azam for the advocacy and promotion of Pakistan movement. He said that Nawa-i-Waqt group was the only media group that played the role of a strong wall in way of Indian and western cultural as well as ideological invasion. He said that Majid Nizami introduced the idea of Nazariya-e-Pakistan Trust and Forum to make the young generation aware of ideology of Pakistan and nations history. He suggested to the office-bearers of Muzaffargarh chapter of Nazariya-e-Pakistan Forum to install national flags on entire route of NGOs operating in the area on flood relief operation. It will let them know that despite all odds were still an alive nation, he added. Later, Sahibzada Abd Saed said that India was the worst enemy of Pakistan as it kept hatching conspiracies against our country since 1947. He said that Majid Nizami did a favour to the nation by organizing youth on platform of Nazariya-e-Pakistan Forum. The event was also addressed by Prof. Hameed Raza Siddiqui, general secretary of forums Multan chapter, Abdul Mujeeb Khan, president Muzaffargarh chapter , Tariq Ali Khan Kakar, president DG Khan chapter, Quddoos Nawaz Khan, A.B. Mujahid, Haji Sheikh Jalal Uddin and others. The students of a local school presented national song and anthem.
