ISLAMABAD -Syed Ali Bukhari further cemented his place as No 1 after scoring six wins on the third day of the trial matches for the selection of Pakistan team for the World Junior Squash Team Championship to be held in Poland from July.

The trial matches were conducted at Mushaf Ali Mir Squash Complex on Monday. Ali Bukhari won all the six matches. Ali was followed by Tayyab Aslam with same amount of wins and Ammad Fareed was at No 3 with five wins and one loss while the competition was very much open between Bilal Zakir, Asim Khan and Israr Ahmed for the fourth and last spot on offer.

In the first match of the day, Ali Bukhari defeated Asim Khan 3-1, winning the match 8-11, 12-10, 11-4 and 11-8.

 In the second match, Ali beat Bilal Zakir 3-2, 4-11, 5-11, 11-1, 11-3, 11-7.

Ammad Fareed beat Kashif Asif 3-1 winning the match 8-11, 13-11, 11-4, 11-8 while in the second match, Ammad beat Asim Khan 3-0 with score of 11-6, 11-3, 11-9. Tayyab Aslam beat Salman Hashmi 3-1 while in the second match, Tayyab beat Israr Ahmed 3-0. Israr Ahmed beat Bilal Zakir 3-1 while in the last match of the day, Salman Hashmi beat Saifullah Kakar 3-0.
