Speech contest spreads message of peace

After first two episodes, the third episode of a reality show titled “Young Ambassadors of Peace” based on speech competitions between youth of 24 districts of Pakistan was aired on a private television channel. According to a press release issued here on Wednesday, the speech competitions that began from Khyber Pakhtunkhwa province in October last year are providing the youth in the four provinces of Pakistan with a chance not only to promote peace but also speak their mind as well. In order to spread the message, it produced 13 episodes of the reality show based on these speech competitions. The first two episodes of the reality show covered speeches from the 16 districts namely Peshawar, Nowshehra, Turbat, Mandi Bahauddin, Gujranwala, Pishin, Larkana, Dera Ismaeel Khan, Mianwali, Sibbi, Hyderabad, Multan, Kohat, Khairpur, Islamabad and Jamshoro. The remaining eight districts Mardan, Lahore, Karachi, DG Khan, Quetta, Charsadda, Bahawalpur, Qilla Saifullah were covered in the third episode to conclude the district level speeches.The format of the third episode was similar to the first two episodes as highlights from the speeches of eight districts along with the backstage drama, pre-speeches excitement and nervousness of the contestants were also portrayed in it. The cultural difference between the contestants from different provinces was again one of the pleasing aspects of the episode.  Moreover, the motivation level and energy of the contestants during the speeches was another highlights of the show. The next episode will hit the television on June 9.
