Rs1,806m earmarked for CADD

ISLAMABAD - The federal government has allocated Rs 1,806.012 million for the Capital Administration and Development Division (CADD) in the new fiscal year 2014-15 for various new development and on-going projects.
The Division under which various government hospitals, schools and colleges and population welfare institutes work at the federal level has been allocated Rs 14, 259 million for recurring expenditures.  
Under the Public Sector Development Programme (PSDP) Rs 806.805 million have been earmarked for the on-going development scheme while Rs 999.207 million for 9 new projects. 
The government has allocated Rs.255.836 million for the establishment/uplifting of eight schools in Islamabad Capitol Territory (ICT). About Rs 200 million has been allocated for computer and science labs in ICT high schools. 
For health sector it has earmarked Rs 200 million for the extension of Federal Government Polyclinic Hospital.  And in the old scheme a handsome amount of Rs 100 million has been allocated for the establishment of safe blood transfusion services project in ICT. A total of Rs 299.202 million have been earmarked for the establishment of Cardiac Surgery Facility at Pakistan Institute of Medical Sciences (Pims), Islamabad.
