Karachi- The US citizens have been warned to exercise caution in view of the ongoing demonstrations in Karachi after Muttahida Qaumi Movement (MQM) Chief Altaf Hussain was arrested in London by British police.
The US Consulate based in Karachi issued travel advisory for its citizens in the city to limit their movements to the minimum. According to British Broadcasting Corporation, demonstrations are feared to continue in Sindh province including Karachi over the arrest of Altaf Hussain in London; hence, the US citizens have been directed to ensure their protection and safety. The US Consulate in Karachi will remain closed today, it was announced late yesterday.
