Islamabad: PPP Senator Rehman Malik today said that Pak-Afghan relationship could not improve unless Afghanistan handed over wanted terrorists to Pakistan.

Senator Rehman Malik was talking to newsmen outside parliament house on Thursday. The relationship of Pakistan and Afghanistan could progress in the right direction after wanted terrorists like Fazulullah and others are handed over to Pakistan.

Rehman Malik said that Pakistani government has handed over many terrorist to Afghanistan, while the Afghan government had not done so till now.

PPP senator said that President Mamnoon Hussain did not speak a single word on the Safoora incident, which was very sad. He should have spoken something in his address to Parliament to convey solidarity with those affected by the Safoora incident.

Rehman Malik said that government has allocated no funds in budget 2015-16 of fiscal year for the security institutions in the ongoing war on terrorism, which could be a severe blow in maintaining the law and order situation of the country.

He added, the provincial governments are not working to cooperate in implementing the National Action Plan.

Foreign policy worldwide is formed in Parliament, while in Pakistan policy is made behind the curtains, added Former Interior Minister.
