In Afghanistan‚ a committee investigating the burning of copies of holy Quran at a US base has rejected apologies from the United States. The Committee is of the view that those responsible must be tried publicly.
A Western official told a news Agency that at least five US military personnel involved in the incident may face a disciplinary hearing over the issue.
