PRU to hold camps to hunt national side


LAHORE - Pakistan Rugby Union (PRU) president Fawzi Khawaja has said the union is holding registration and screening camps for the Pakistan national side for 2012 camps which will be held here in the city for two weeks.
Talking to this scribe, Fawzi Kh said: “The camps are open to all rugby players across the country and will act as a talent hunt and registration process. The first camp will held on March 4 at UMT Lahore. Army, Police, HEC, Wapda, Railways, Navy, Punjab, Sindh, Balochistan, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, Islamabad RA and Fata have all been asked to send their players for the trials, he added. The PRU is also working through the internet to register all the eligible Pakistan origin rugby players from across the world.”
He further said that the camps would be run by the PRU coaching and management staffs under the supervision of Pakistan resident head coach Rizwan Malik
