HAFIZABAD – The Sunni Tehreek (ST) has started struggle at national level to save the country from the slavery of the US imperialists, maintain integrity and solidarity of the country and eliminate corrupt mafia from the country.

Sunni Tehreek central leader Shahid Ghouri said this while addressing a press conference at the residence of ST District Convener Syed Usman Haider Naqvi here on Saturday.

He said that present rulers had failed to resolve the problems of the masses and the people were fed up with the price spiral, unemployment and rising poverty. He said that the poor were compelled to sell their body organs and children to have two time meals.

Expressing his full confidence in the courage and bravery of Pakistan Army, he said that certain forces were hell bent on bring down the morale of the army but they would fail in their nefarious designs.

He said that the ST would organise “Azad Pakistan” conference at Minar-i-Pakistan in Lahore on March 25 and appealed to the masses to attend the conference.

Three drug-peddlers held: The Pindi Bhattian Police conducted raids at different places and seized huge quantity of heroin and charas and arrested three drug peddlers.

According to the SHO Asif, Zawar Hussain and Arif were arrested during raids who were involved in selling heroin and charas. The police also recovered 365 grams of charas, 104 grams of heroin and two litres liquor from their possession.

11 men, 4 girls held from brothels: The City Police conducted raid at two different brothels in Mughalpura and Tajpura and rounded up four girls and 11 men in objectionable condition.

According to the City Police SHO, the police contingent raided two dens and nabbed Saima, Maria, Gul Faraz, Saif Jafar, Nadeem Abbas, Gul Faraz, Shakeel, Khawar, Chand, Raifq, Nadeem and Abbas.
