KHANEWAL - A partial shutter-down was observed in the district on Saturday when traders and the District Bar Association took out a protest rally on the call of the local chamber of commerce against the rising incidents of dacoities.

Marching through different roads, the rally culminated at Sanglanwala Chowk, where it was addressed by Khanewal Chamber of Commerce & Industry President Inamullah Qureshi, lawyers Pir Ahmad Shah Khaga, Malik Tariq Nonari, Wazir Iqbal Niazi, Rana Naveed Ahmad of the Pakistan Threek-e-Insaaf.

They demanded the DPO to immediately replace SHO City Police Station Ch Zaka. They also demanded early arrest of those robbed advocate Rao Sajid.
