Karachi blasts flayed

LAHORE – Shia Ulema Council has strongly condemned the twin blasts in Karachi on Sunday.
In a statement, Council’s Punjab president Maulana Mazhar Abbas and Syed Asif Ali Zaidi condemned the twin blasts and demanded the Punjab government to take serious action against the terrorists based in Punjab. They said the terrorism could not be stopped until action was taken against Lashkar-e-Janghvi and Sipah-e-Sahaba.
They said if the govt did not take action, the shias would boycott the PML-N in upcoming general polls. Shia Ulema Council will stage the protest in front of the Lahore Press Club on Monday against the incident.
Jamiat Ahle Hadith chief Prof Sajid Mir condemned the Karachi blasts and said that Sidh government had failed to protect the masses.
