LAHORE  - PML-N workers in a meeting on Sunday opposed party ticket to the sitting MPA of PP-153 Lahore and said an active worker of the party should be given a chance to represent people. The meeting was held at the residence of senior party leader Wazir Anwar in Liaquatabad. They were of the view that MPA Ch Ramzan Bhatti had done nothing to develop the are and serve workers during the last five years.

Ch Shafqat Hussain Panda adviser to the Chief Minister on Forest, Fishries and Wild Life, chaired the meeting. Jahangir Abid, Abdul Sattar Mitha Butt, former President UC-129 Mian Zahid Latif, Anwar Latif, Abid Maneka, Iqbal Qasim Bhutt and Saleem Shakir were laso present.

They drew the attention of the party leadership for bringing change in political culture of the country and avoid tickets to those who had failed to serve people in their previous term.

The adviser to the CM said he fully supported feelings of the workers of the party and said the PML-N leadership should not repeat mistakes of the past and give tickets to people who were competent to deliver.

He highlighted problems faced by people during the last five years ad hoped people would not have to suffer next time.
