TOBA TEK SINGH - The Health Department’s Nutrition and Health Supervisors (NHSA) Association has demanded the Punjab CM to regularise the service of NHSs working on contract basis.

In a press statement issued here NHSs spokesman Ahsan Javed lauded the Punjab government decision regarding regularisation of services of contractual employees from pay scale 1 to 15, adding that the decision would not benefit the contractual NHSs as they were recruited in grade 17. He pointed out that although the NHSs worked in grade 17 they had to suffer a lot as their salaries remained stuck for months and they had to launch protest repeatedly to get their salaries. He announced that the NHSs would stage a protest demonstration in Lahore on March 6 to press their demand for regularisation of their services.
