QUETTA - Three people, including a woman were gunned down in separate incidents of violence on Sunday while two bodies were found dumped in Kuchlak.

Unidentified armed men shot dead a person in Lehri area of Sibi, some 160 kilometers away from Quetta. The deceased was identified as Allah Ditta. However, motive behind the murder could not be ascertained immediately. Levies Force personnel shifted the body to hospital for medico-legal formalities. Separately, a man was gunned down in Kalat district. The sources said unidentified armed men riding a motorcycle opened fire on Abdul Khaliq at Kalat bazaar.

As a result, he died on the spot. Police after getting information rushed to the spot and took the body to hospital for autopsy.

In another incident, Sharbat Jan allegedly shot dead his wife Fatima, mother of three children, in Goth Muhammad Salah-ud-Din of Dera Murad Jamali and fled from the scene.

Police said that the accused Sharbat Jan killed his wife in the name of honour after accusing her of having illicit relations with an unknown man.

Separately, police recovered two bodies from Kuchlak area in suburb of Quetta late Saturday night. Police said that both bodies were recovered from Kali Spin area of Kuchlak and shifted to hospital for postmortem and identification. DSP Asif Ghafoor said that deceased were found with bullets on their chests and they were aged between 19 to 20 years old.

However, their identity is yet to be ascertained. Police have registered a case and started investigations.

Meanwhile, Khuzdar police defused a 5-kg bomb which was planted beneath a bridge of RCD highway area in Wadh of Khuzdar district. Nisar Ahmed Wadh police station SHO said that a boy found a suspicious substance in Killi Ibrihimzai area of RCD highway and informed the police. Police and Bomb Disposable Squad (BDS) rushed to the spot and defused it.

 A case has been registered against unidentified persons and investigation in this connection is underway.
