CH Nisar should apologize to nation over security failure: Mushahid Hussain

Islamabad- Interior Minister Chaudhry Nisar Ali Khan should apologize to the nation for his mistake of asking Taliban’s help instead of asking the country’s spy agencies to reveal the elements involved in the F-8 terrorist attack, said Senator of Muslim League-Q, Mushahid Hussain Syed.

While talking to journalists outside the parliament house, Senator Mushahid Hussain lashed out at the Interior Minister Chaudhry Nisar Ali Khan who had asked the help of the Taliban rather than the intelligence agencies in investigating the F-8 attacks that shocked the twin-cities. He further stated that the members of the Government were criticizing Chaudhry Nisar’s policies more than of the opposition parties.

A week earlier, Interior Minister Chaudhry Nisar claimed that the Federal capital was entirely safe but the attacks on the Islamabad District Court had exposed his tall claims. The terrorists are openly roaming through Kechehri without facing any resistance.

This attack was the first attack in the history of Islamabad when terrorists continued to fire for 43 minutes while the police and the law enforcement agencies were nowhere to be seen.

Senator Mushahid Hussain said the Interior Minister should also apologize to the nation for the fake promises made regarding the safety of the capital city. He added that the Government had lost its capability of bearing the criticism but bent upon alleging the opposition in return. He said the government should take measures to improve the peace and stability in the country while improving the security plans.
