Taliban be assigned to nail talks saboteurs, says Imran

ISLAMABAD - Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) chairman Imran Khan on Monday condemned the terrorist attack on courts in the heart of Islamabad, and urged the government not to abandon peace efforts.
Speaking to reporters at Islamabad airport, the PTI chief said Pakistan cannot afford a full-fledged military action in North Waziristan. “Military operation in North Waziristan was imminent, but thank God Pakistan escaped it, it would have spawned a way of terrorism across the country.... So I congratulate the government for this success,” Imran Khan said.
Condemning the terror attacks in Islamabad courts-complex and on security forces in Khyber Agency, Imran Khan said Taliban should be given the responsibility of nabbing those involved in terrorist attacks.
Imran Khan said that every effort should be made for the success of peace dialogue. He said anti-Pakistan elements are active to abandon ceasefire and sabotage the dialogue process.
The PTI chief also said that there were few groups within Taliban who did not want peace in Pakistan, adding that anti-state elements were also active against peace talks. He said that the majority of the Taliban groups want to hold dialogues.
He reiterated that those not intending to hold dialogues with Pakistani government should be isolated and action against these militants should be taken.
Imran Khan said peace talks should be given a full chance to restore peace in the country, adding that the option of military operation was always at hand.
Imran Khan said that a ceasefire agreement between the government and the Taliban should be continued.
He claimed that the US wants military action in North Waziristan Agency (NWA).
