LAHORE - Australian High Commissioner in Pakistan Margaret Adamson along with her Husband Mark Karol visited the mausoleum of Maulana Zafar Ali Khan, says a press release.

The late leader was one of the pioneers of Pakistan and editor of historical newspaper Daily “Zamindar” is buried at his native village Karamabad near Wazirabad.

She was received by Secretary Maulana Zafar Ali Khan Trust, Raja Asad Ali Khan. The high commissioner was briefed about the multidimensional role of late leader during the Pakistan Movement and his contribution for journalism and literature.

She was informed that Maulana Zafar Ali Khan represent Punjab at the inaugural seminar of all India Muslim League which was held in 1906 at Dakha .The high commissioner was shown the rare pictures of late Zafar Ali Khan sighting background of his political ,educational and literary activities before partition.
