ISLAMABAD - Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif yesterday made some more reshuffle in the federal bureaucracy.

The PM gave formal approval of the appointment of Azmat Ali Ranjha as new Secretary Commerce. Azmat Ranjha was performing as Additional Secretary Incharge Ministry of Information Technology and Telecom and senior bureaucrat Rizwan Bashir replaced him and has been appointed as new secretary of the ministry.

Azhar Ali Chaudhary has been posted as Secretary Board of Investment and Arbab Shahzad has also been posted as secretary State and Frontier Region.

The PM had transferred the Secretary Establishment Division Nadeem Hassan Asif on Wednesday last and posted him as secretary Cabinet Division.

Former CDA chairman and Registrar Supreme Court of Pakistan Tahir Shahbaz has been posted as new Secretary Establishment Division.

Official sources told The Nation that several senior bureaucrats were awaiting their promotion and posting orders.
