ISLAMABAD - Opposition parties will raise queries about continuous bad performance of Pakistan cricket team in the upcoming National Assembly session.
PPP, a major opposition party, with the support of other opposition parties will ask about alleged non-professional and incompetent people lacking cricket vision are involved in the team selection.
PPP’s lawmakers Shazia Marri have submitted a call-attention notice in National Assembly Secretariat to seek reasons from the government about their selection of team. “The worst performance of Pakistan Cricket team in recent time has brought disgrace to the country and hurt the feelings of millions of cricket lovers,” said the PPP lawmaker in the call-attention notice.
They further said both management and players are equally responsible for this worse state of affairs.
