QUETTA - Three persons including two policemen were killed in different incidents in Quetta on Sunday. Police officials said two policemen including a head constable were on patrol duty at Arbab Karam Khan Road when unknown persons opened indiscriminate firing on them. They received serious wounds due to intense firing and succumbed to injuries on the spot. Police officials said attackers were riding on motorcycle and they escaped the scene after crime. Dead bodies of both policemen were shifted to hospital for autopsy. Their names have been identified as Khan Gul and Shamshad. Police authorities said that this was an incident of target killing and case has been registered against unknown persons. CM Balochistan strongly condemned the killing of police personnel and termed it a conspiracy to spoil the peace of city. In another other incident, a person identified as Muhammad Hashim was killed in Killi Kamalo area of Quetta city. Police said that Muhammad Hashim was killed by his cousin Abdul Samad and cause of killing was stated to be family dispute. Accused fled the scene after committing crime. Police have registered case of incidents and started investigation. Meanwhile, spokesman of outlawed Baloch Liberation Army (BLA) Mirak Baloch calling from unknown location claimed they had killed two personnel of Frontier Corps and injured three others in an attack at Margat area. The security personnel were deployed for the security of team of oil and gas Exploration Company. However, official sources did not confirm the attack.
