ISLAMABAD - Chief Justice Iftikhar Muhammad Chaudhry has said if there is any complaint regarding corruption in judiciary at any forum, it may be sent along with affidavit and evidence to the Registrar of the Supreme Court so that action can be taken to get rid of the corrupt elements from the courts throughout the country. He said this while talking to a delegation of District Bar Association Bhakkar and Tehsil Bar Association Kallurkot which called on him headed by Naurang Hayat Shahi, Member Punjab Bar Council, here at Supreme Court building on Tuesday. The delegation thanked the Chief Justice and praised the National Judicial Policy which proved fruitful for lawyers as well as litigants and enhanced the public confidence in courts by providing a speedy and expeditious disposal to them. They informed his lordship that due to the policy, almost all the old cases have been disposed of in their district and they have achieved the target of speedy justice as the judges in the courts at Bhakkar and Kallurkot are hearing the old cases on day to day basis and adjournments are being given just for two or three days and that too in deserving cases. The members of the delegation made a request to the Chief Justice for establishment of Labour Court at Bhakkar for which they were advised to make a request in writing which will be referred to the proper forum for consideration. The members of delegation informed the CJ that in bail matters the people of Kallurkot are facing very difficulty for release of the accused on bail.
