Indian state CM feared dead in chopper crash

Indian Home Minister P. Chidambaram said on Wednesday the wreckage of the chopper carrying Arunachal Pradesh Chief Minister Dorjee Khandu has been found and some bodies sighted. He appealed to the media to not speculate till the official confirmation, Chidambaram said none of the bodies had been identified. The debris of the chopper carrying Khandu and four others was found in Lobotang area in Tawang, 96 hours after it went missing, officials confirmed. The Pawan Hans AS350 B-3 helicopter had taken off from Tawang on Saturday morning. The last radio contact with the ground was about 20 minutes after take off as it flew over the Sela Pass along the Chinese border.
