MANSEHRA - As many as 16 passengers including four security persons were killed and another 29 got injured when a bus plunged into a deep ravine, police said Thursday.According to police, a Skardu-bound passenger bus (BS 144) was on its way from Rawalpindi. When it reached Kameela area in district Kohistan in the wee hours of Thursday morning, the driver lost control over the vehicle while negotiating a sharp turn and plunged into a deep ravine. As a result, as many as 16 passengers including four security persons, two women and a child died and another 29 injured. On getting information, police and locals rushed to the spot and started rescue operation. The bodies and injured were shifted to RHC hospital Dassu.The killed were identified as Jehan Bibi, Hajra Bibi, Muhammad Sadiq, Aamir, two police guards of bus were (M Ijaz, Aslam Hussain), Akhber, Ibrahim, Gulam M, Ghulaam Mehdi, Ansir Khan and four security persons M Mustaaq, Shiar M, Abdul Ghafoor and Khalid Khan.
