Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie have reportedly purchased a £10 million ($16.1 million) mansion in London.

The Hollywood pair decided to buy the property - named Whornes Place - while renting it for £30,000 ($48,000) a month last summer.

Pitt was filming zombie thriller World War Z last summer when they were staying in the capital city’s borough of Richmond. The property has an indoor pool and 15th century wooden beams, according to The Sun. “Brad and Angelina hold affection for the UK, so this investment makes sense,” a source is quoted as saying.

It was reported last month that Pitt and Jolie were planning to move to London. On Tuesday it emerged that the couple may have new neighbours in the form of Pitt’s ex-wife Jennifer Aniston.  The Friends actress has also been looking in the Richmond area for accommodation while she films comedy drama Miss You Already, with a source telling the paper that Aniston has had little to do with her former husband since their divorce in 2005. A-listers George Clooney, Johnny Depp and Sandra Bullock have all had places nearby.                                           –DS
