ISLAMABAD - Speaker National Assembly Dr Fehmida Mirza has asked the opposition parties not to act in haste regarding Prime Minster's disqualification issue reiterating that interpretation of the Supreme Court's detailed verdict would be done in the light of the Constitution and not as per wishes of anyone."Proceedings in this case could not be initiated until the announcement of detailed verdict. After taking into the account the legalities involving the detailed verdict from all aspects, for which Speaker Chamber would have 30 days, decision would be made in accordance with the law," she said.She was talking to media persons after inaugurating paintings exhibition here at Speaker's Lounge, National Assembly, held upon successful completion of the 4th year of the 13th National Assembly of Pakistan.  Fehmida Mirza was of the view that nobody could interpret the court's decision as per his/her aspirations saying the opposition's behaviour in the backdrop of the short order of the Supreme Court was not appropriate.She said that she has gone through the text of the short order of the apex court that was received at the Speaker Secretariat few days ago but the main thing - the detailed verdict - is yet to be announced.She said upon receipt of detailed verdict she would have 30 days for legal consultation over the issue adding that she was expecting that the opposition (PML-N) would consult her about their reservations over the issue despite making hue and cry in an unacceptable fashion.Dr Fehmida Mirza said that the dignity of the Parliament was restored by making hectic efforts and dedicated work but today the opposition's conduct on the issue was amounted to hurt her.People holding high profile positions including Judiciary as well as Speaker's office speak through their decisions, she said adding she being Speaker National Assembly has not taken any decision regarding the issue.
