ISLAMABAD : A medical store selling unregistered medicines and a factory producing substandard food products have been sealed by a drug inspector and assistant director food respectively.  Miltus Pharma, a pharmaceutical store, has been barred from operation on account of selling unregistered medicines, after a raid by drug inspector at Al-Jannat Arcade situated in Sector G-11.
In addition to the illegally produced medicines, a bulk of empty cartons and cut blisters were also recovered. These and other illegitimate stock have been taken into custody and the case has been sent to the Quality Control Board for legal action.
Meanwhile, Assistant Director Food, Islamabad, Muhammad Afzal raided and sealed a factory, which produces low-quality food-products and supplies to certain bakeries. The official got hold of all the food items and food accessories. The said factory was sealed for violating rules pertaining to hygiene and sanitation.
