Balochistan Chief Minister Nawab Aslam Khan Raisani on Friday discussed the issue of missing persons, law and order situation and the developmental projects in the province with President Asif Ali Zardari who met him at the Aiwan-e-Sadr. Spokesperson to the President, Senator Farhatullah Babar said that the President during meeting emphasised upon the need for taking urgent steps to address the issue of the missing persons in consultation and coordination with all relevant departments. The President also inquired about progress in the investigations in the case of Khalil Dale, who worked for the International Committee of the Red Cross (ICRC). It may be recalled that Mr. Khalil Dale went missing from Quetta in January and his dead body was found recently. The issues relating to Gwadar Port were also discussed. The President said that the full benefit of Gwadar Port will accrue only when the highways and ancillary communication infrastructural projects relating to Gwadar Port were completed in time to facilitate the movement of goods.
