PARIS (ES): David Beckham is to receive an award for his charity work. The soccer star will receive the Global Gift Philanthropist Award from Global Gift Gala honorary chair Eva Longoria at the Global Gift Gala at the Four Seasons Hotel George V on May 13 in recognition of his work with the Malaria No More UK Leadership Council, Unicef. The 2013 Global Gift Gala Paris will be hosted by Eva and event co-chairs Nikos Aliagas and founder of charitable organisation The GREAT Initiative, Karen Ruimy.
