ISLAMABAD - Umer Amin (76) sailed Federal Area to a 4 wickets win against Punjab in the Pentangular Cricket Cup on Monday here at Diamond Cricket Ground. On fourth day, Federal Area needed 111 runs to achieve the target of 238, as they were at 127 for 4 at the end of day-three game. Not out over night batsmen Umer Amin (76) and Yasir Arfat (38) faced Punjabi pacers brilliantly and aggregated important 74 runs for the fifth wicket partnership. Yasir (33) lost his wicket at 198 when he caught behind by Kamran Akmal on the away going delivery of Muhammad Talah. He hit 3 fours and faced 61 balls during his 142 minutes crucial innings. However, hero of the day Umer Amin remained unbeaten, who led his team a positive win. He hit 9 boundaries during his 289 minutes inning innings and faced 191 delivers.  Sohail Tenvir scored 13 runs with the help of one four and one six. Jamal Anwar was other not out batsman with 2 runs. Muhammad Talha and Wahab Raiz got one wicket each on the last day of the match.
