ISLAMABAD Prime Minister Syed Yousuf Raza Gilani reiterated the Governments commitment to allocate substantial amount of budget for the development projects in spite of resource constrains. The Prime Minister was talking to parliamentarians who called on him separately at the Prime Ministers House on Wednesday. The Prime Minister said that major portion of the funds was being utilised for reconstruction and rehabilitation of the flood affectees. He expressed his satisfaction over speedy return of the flood affectees to their homes before the onslaught of the winter season. He said the government would complete the upcoming phase of reconstruction and rehabilitation soon. The Prime Minister stressed upon the parliamentarians to focus on the early completion of the ongoing development projects in their respective constituencies. He also urged them to personally monitor these schemes. He asked them to prioritise their schemes keeping in view the resource constraints on account of the devastation caused by the floods. The parliamentarians thanked the Prime Minister for his keen interest in development and prosperity of the people and fair disbursement of the allocated budget among to all MNAs irrespective of their political affiliations. MNAs M Tariq Tarar, Sheikh Rohale Asghar, Khurram Watto and MPA Rubina Shaheen Watto apprised the Prime Minister of various development schemes in their areas and also discussed with him the new projects taken up for the uplift of the flood affectees.
